For light anti-aging treatments, 1 to 4 treatments may be sufficient but for deeper wrinkles & scarring, you may require 4 to 6 treatments to achieve desired results. An interval of 4 weeks between treatments is typically recommended and you can see the results 2-3 weeks after your treatment.

After the therapy, your skin will be pink or red in appearance for the first 24 to 48 hours. However, this can be covered with sunscreen within 90 minutes of treatment.

If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it is a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia, or similar bleeding disorders. Also anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment or those who are pregnant or nursing.

Avoid washing your face for the first 6 hours. You can wash the treated area gently with a gentle cleanser and apply moisturizer thereafter. After the therapy, nothing topical should be applied for at least 90 minutes. Do not exfoliate at least for 7 days. Avoid direct sunlight for at least 7 days. Ensure you have proper sun protection whenever you are out in the sun Avoid swimming or jogging in the rain for at least 72 hours. Avoid vigorous exercise for first 72 hours. Avoid anti-inflammatory medication pre and post treatment. Avoid makeup for at least 6 hours after the procedure.

Though neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, it is not abnormal to notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, elasticity, and wrinkles.

The suite 45 is on the 2nd floor towards the back of the building, the spa entrance is on the left before the exit sign and bathrooms.

There are parking spaces in front of the salon or you may use the parking lot behind the Salons of Dallas at Knox. Parking spaces that face the frontage road in the Ed Kellum & Son parking lot are also available to use.
